About Hamish

With over 12 years experience in the live entertainment industry Hamish has honed his craft in entertainment and production management.

After studying Audio Engineering and Sound production at JMC Academy, he began touring as a FOH operator with bands such as Mental as Anything and The Radiators. This made way to working closely with Yours and Owls in Wollongong helping with bookings and live production in the venue.

He then moved on to working at The Oxford Art Factory handling the talent bookings and production management in the Gallery Bar stage before working for The Music and Booze Co. overseeing the talent bookings and production management for a roster of 8 live music venues across Sydney. Following that he worked as Production Manager for The Bank Hotel in Newtown overseeing the production in the pub's live music venue, Waywards.

Throughout this time, Hamish also played in and co-managed FLOWERTRUCK, which was a successful touring band that was nominated for FBi radio's SMAC awards in 2018. The band achieved radio rotation on 4ZZZ, FBi and Triple J plus regular plays on ABC's Rage. FLOWERTRUCK also toured the east coast extensively which was jointly overseen and coordinated by Hamish. As was the production of a 10-track studio album recorded at The Grove and Free Energy Device Studios in Sydney and released under the Universal Records banner via the subsidiary Spunk Records.

Most recently Hamish is based in Sydney offering consulting, entertainment booking and production management services to clients both local and further abroad.
